"26.2 Miles of Running Heaven™"

HMBIM Race organizers are working with local authorities to re-design the course to improve the athlete's experience and to accommodate the requests from the hundreds of athletes we have had to turn away in the Event's first 3 years. The 2015 Event will feature a gorgeous 26.2 course laid out along the Northern California coastline, for a breathtaking experience. Information on the new course will be found here once everything is finalized. Information below provides a glimpse of the beauty of the past events running the HMBIM.

Full Marathon Course

The HMBIM Full and Marathon courses are USATF Certified and will serve as a Boston Qualifier.

The Full Marathon's unique course offers amazing views from bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean at various locations. For locals, it's an opportunity to bask in the beauty we are privileged to live near; for visitors, it will take your breath away. The choice of this course delivers possibly the most breathtaking 26.2 miles anywhere in the world.

Half Marathon Course

New in 2013, the Half Marathon course was been re-designed to eliminate the packed dirt trails and is 100% paved streets or bike trails, and offered amazing views from bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean at various locations.

The 2013 Half Marathon course was almost completely flat with no elevation gain or hills in the entire course.

5K Map

The 2013 5K course was designed to keep the entire course within the Pillar Point Harbor and Princeton areas. This is to assure the safety of the many children who enjoy this event to shield them from any exposure to Highway 1.
